Haven’t we been through this five years ago?
I’ve been reading about Stephen Miller – I honestly cannot understand a person who grows up hating so many people. I cannot understand a glee taken in separating families and children; I cannot understand the rationale for what’s happening now.
His family can’t understand it either. He’s a repellant psychopath who takes joy in the shock value of repugnancy. As I type this, I know he would enjoy it.
There are vampires who feed on our horror. There are vampires who feed on our shock and dismay. As we stand up for the things that are right – as we stand up for empathy and love and agape – people like Miller devour that energy. They use it to fortify themselves.
“Look at all the people who love one another, who hate injustices, who want their humanity to be respected – look at them, and laugh.” Stephen Miller is a demon.
There’s not much else to say about him – he was bad two adminstrations ago, and he’s bad now. There’s no wishing him ill – ill won’t happen to him. Like a tick seeking blood, he’s going to hang on and engorge himself on all of our repulsion and disgust and abhorrance – he lives for this shit. He rejoices in this shit.
There’s only one way to defeat a monster like this: laugh at him. Mock him. Deride him. Ridicule him. That’s all he understands. Most of it will bounce right off him. Some if it will strengthen him. But a few of those arrows will land. They will land hard.
